Yvette Rosenberg has been drawing, stamping, and making paper creations since she was a child in Colorado. She looks to the vivid colors of the wild flowers and muted tones of the earth, trees, and mountains to influence her work. Her love of bling leads her to infuse metallics and sparkle into her pieces.
After earning a degree in English, Yvette worked in higher education helping underrepresented students get into college. That work inspired her to attend law school. Yvette used her interest in art as a creative outlet while in school. With a JD in hand, Yvette returned to higher education as an administrator, grant writer, and grant reader. Art again became a hobby to temper the challenges of working in academia.
After leaving her job in Utah in 2012, Yvette moved to New Mexico with her husband and son and has taken up the mantle of mixed-media artist. She uses paint, paper, ink, and found objects to create books and boxes to decorate the world around her.
